ISO 15189 certification procedure has started

Labonovum has set itself the goal of meeting the international ISO 15189 standard. This certification procedure has now begun, in cooperation with an external consultant.

The international ISO 15189 standard sets specific requirements for quality and competence in medical laboratories, and is aimed at demonstrating the quality and reliability of the services provided.

Developed in participation with the medical, scientific and clinical community, ISO 15189 describes requirements for diagnostic laboratories, to demonstrate their ability to provide timely, accurate and reliable results.

This international standard can be used by medical laboratories to develop their quality management systems and assess their own competence.
